This is the UK 1st Press of 'Who's Next' by The Who. This 1st press is complete with the original matt Track label, the earliest 1st press A1/B2 matrix and the MG 12888 handetched text. The label has the ridge around the very outside of the label and MacNeill Press sleeve with the very earliest pinched spine. It is complete with the Head Hunters inner sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves at all, there are just a couple of the lightest wispy marks and some resudue marks from the polylined inner sleeve. On playing the sound is rich and bold with just some occasional very light background noise, but this is largely insignificant, it can be enjoyed from start to finish. The matt black tracks labels are very bold and clean with slight spindle wear. The silver text is exceptionally sharp and the black is solid.
The vinyl is complete with the original Head Hunters polylined inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The cover is in Excellent condition. The colours are bright and the black is bold. The image is sharp and the edges are extremely solid. There is very slight corner wear. On the back of the sleeve the black is very bold, the white text is sharp. There are a couple of small white marks on the opening edge. The spine is pinched at either end and is very firm with sharp text. The whole sleeve is still very solid.
