ULTRA-RARE 1969 ORIGINAL JAPANESE FIRST ISSUE OF THE WHO "TOMMY" ON NIPPON GRAMMOPHON LABEL WITH THE OBI. THE FIRST RECORD IS A WHITE LABEL PROMO WITH THE TRACK LISTING ON BOTH SIDES OF THE LABEL WHICH IS IN A VERY STRONG VG+ UNDER DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND THE SECOND RECORD IS A WHITE LABEL PROMO TEST PRESSING WITH THE RECORD NO. STAMPED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE LABEL IN NEAR MINT CONDITION. THAT IS THE WAY WE GOT IT WAY BACK WHEN IN JAPAN FROM A DJ. THE GATEFOLD COVER WITH THE 12 PAGE BOOKLET ATTACHED TO IT IS IN VG+ CONDITION (NO MAJOR FLAWS!). THE OBI STRIP IS A STRONG VG+ IF NOT NEAR MINT (HAS A MINISCULE SLIGHT TEAR ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT - NOT BAD AT ALL!). THE "HOJYUHYO" TAG IS FULLY INTACT!!!!! THIS PRESSING SOUNDS INCREDIBLE FOR THE AUDIOPHILE PEOPLE. GET BACK TO THE REAL THING: THE WARM SOUND OF ANALOG, THE WAY IT WAS INTENDED TO BE HEARD!!!!! MORE HEADROOM FOR VOLUME! PRE-COMPRESSION!
