Description

For auction is an excellent condition First U.K. press copy of The Who’s debut album My Generation on the Brunswick label. LAT8616. 1965.


The original Brunswick sleeve is in EX- condition. The laminated front is in great condition. There is minor wear to the opening edges and some ring wear on the rear. The unlaminated rear of these sleeves are notoriously liable to stains, tears etc etc. This copy is remarkably clean and fully intact. Spine fully intact and readable.

The original inner sleeve is in VG+ condition, with age related staining but otherwise intact

Record visually is excellent with only a few minor hairlines visible under a bright lamp. No scratches or other deep or feelable marks. Labels nice and clean with minimal spindle marks.

Sonically is excellent with clear vibrant sound and no issues with sticks skips or jumps. Occasional light crackles which might improve further if given a deep professional clean.

All in all a great condition copy of an iconic first issue record.

Please note that I don’t post to the Russian Federation due to previous delivery issues.
