12" Vinyl LP - The Wailers - CATCH A FIRE - ILPS 9241 - Original 1973 edition
This record was purchased new in the early 1970s. The disc is on a pink rim Island label and is in excellent condition. The inner white paper sleeve is original as far as I know. The fantastic cardboard outer sleeve is in the style of a Zippo lighter, which still opens smoothly and is in great condition apart from the top right hand corner which is bent and scuffed, as seen in picture 4.
The matrix number is BML 2001 A 3 U / B 4 U and the run off is also marked STERLING
Postage in UK will be First Class @ £4.00.
Europe £6.00, Rest of world £8.50. If you are outside the UK and require the parcel to be insured and trackable please let me know before the end of the auction and there will be an additional charge of £5.15.
My records have been in storage for a number of years, and I try to describe them as accurately as possible. However, as I no longer have the equipment to play them, I have been able to give a visual inspection only, and cannot verify to what extent any imperfections might affect sound quality.
I am a collector, but not of records, so I understand that you might need to ask questions, but please try to do this more than 24 hours before the auction end as the discs will usually be packed by then in order to allow speedy dispatch to the buyer. If you are not happy with the item when you receive it I will give a full refund if you return it at your own expense in its original packaging. It will be well packed in bubble wrap and stiff cardboard : the cost of this is included in the postage charge.
I am happy to combine postage to reduce your costs if you win more than one item, but only if they end on the same day.
