Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonically using the UK RRPG standards as customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and I'll always do my very best not to let you down. THE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND ULTRA RARE CLASSIC DEBUT LP FROM THESE MAGNIFICENT MOD LEGENDS!!! AWESOME AUDIO WITH A BRILLIANT SLEEVE!!!

What a record!!! Usually bands debut's are hit and miss, but this is just awesome!!! And loud!!! Right from the kick off of a blistering rendition of "Shake" (the Sam Cooke / Otis Redding classic), it's brilliance just doesn't stop!!! And all you Led Zeppelin fans should listen to "You Need Loving" - it's virtually identical to "Whole Lotta Love"!!! Seems like Robert Plant and Jimmy Page owe the late great Steve Marriot a whole lotta cash!!!

One of the VERY RAREST 60's LP's of all time!!! A classic debut from one of the best bands to ever walk the earth, whos influence on music still grows to this day!!! An OUTSTANDING and historic Mod LP that's just so hard to find as a true day of release example, ESPECIALLY one in such AWESOME sounding condition!!! Do not miss out on this PHENOMENAL piece of rock history, bid now!!!

Classic UK 1st Press red ridged unboxed Decca labels!!! Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO real signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this hasn't had too much play over the years at all!!! AWESOME for a 50 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good++!!!

Spectacular Original UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT for it's age with NO nasty deep scratches whatsoever, and NO deep groove-breaking vicious scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just a few light scuff marks, a few light hairlines and age marks here and there, and just some of the usual light wispy sleeve traces (only visible in direct angled light) from general use and where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! On a modern, thin LP, these marks would possibly hinder play, but because this is such an ultra thick quality 1st pressing, it plays fine with no trouble AT ALL!!! Used, but definitely AWESOME for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me!!!)

Record : Audio -

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, sticks OR skips!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle here and there, a small amount of light ticks here and there on very rare occasions, and only a hint of low level ultra light "bluesman's fag" atmospheric static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! And that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast majority of the music is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! An outstanding listen! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly at least as Excellent minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original UK 1st press 1966 Mono front laminated “James Upton" sleeve complete with original “patent applied for” inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks BRILLIANT compared to the majority I've ever seen, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO writing, NO graffiti, NO seam splits, NO really bad marks AT ALL, and still ultra strong and solid after all these years!!! This sleeve only has a few minor signs of light ageing such as only a small amount of ultra light creases and just a light touch of a record imprint, only some very minor general age dulling on the unlaminated back (absolutely NOTHING drastic - NO coffee cup stains, ugly grubbiness, writing OR graffiti, or anything like that at all!!!), a light touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by emphasizing every minor negative I can find, but this remains a fantastic sleeve (the iconic front looks AWESOME!!!), and a TRUE rarity to find one as outstanding as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Summary : A FANTASTIC sounding example of this IMPOSSIBLY RARE classic true UK 1st Press LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but simply IMPOSSIBLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS SONICALLY AWESOME AS THIS!!! YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!

Postage and packing (UK bidders) will be £4.49 for the first item, £3.00 for every item after that. International buyers, postage is £8.99 for the first item, £3.00 for every item after that. Contact is expected to be made within 3 days, and payment usually expected within 7 days of the auction ending, otherwise you may lose priority over the item and it may be relisted e.t.c. UK bidders, I accept paypal or postal orders. I will reluctantly accept cheques, although they will take at least a week to clear. That is why I prefer the other methods, as it means I can get your item to you faster. International bidders, I can only accept Paypal, IMO, or Bank Transfer! I only accept £s. Unfortunately, I cant accept any other internet payment other than paypal.
