THE ROLLING STONES

“LOS GRANDES EXITOS” (The Big Hits)

("Milestones")

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! ULTRA RARE and  HARD-TO-FIND original Stereo Decca/London Records very first press released in Chile in 1974 by Odeon Records!!!, catalog number (S)LLC-38645 with green LONDON ffrr labels!!! And Matrix numbers XZAL 10776P 1 AAR in Side 1 and XZAL 10777P 1 in Side 2. Yes, WHAT A FIND!!! Another rare Chilean press of a great album!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!!

THE ROLLING STONES’ “Los Grandes Exitos” was originally released in 1972 with the title “MILESTONES”, but in Chile this album was released in 1974 with the title “LOS GRANDES EXITOS” (THE BIG HITS). This record has same cover artwork that “Milestones” but the cover is UNIQUE!!! Cover is made of two single sheets of thin cardboard kept together for an outer plastic bag. Title of the album is in Spanish in front and back cover but the song titles are in English in labels and back cover, translated to Spanish. In front cover is the face of Mick Jagger and in back cover is a set of pictures of other members with the name of them: Charlie, Bill, Brian… But the picture of Keith doesn’t have the name!!! Was it an error??? I don’t know, but something we know, this record is a GREAT FIND for all fans and collector of The Rolling Stones!!! And we got it for one of you!!!

The cover is in superb NM- or NM condition, clean, no rips, no creases, not even minimal wear, no ring marks, what a great shape!!! (see the pictures, the only detail is the outer plastic bag has a little rip in the below side caused for the record). The record, however, is in superb NM- or NM condition, glossy, clean and with some very very light scuffs hardly to see which don’t affect sound at all. Labels on both sides are in NM or NM+ condition, almost perfect but someone wrote a number in Side 1. The sound is the best part, it’s in amazing strong NM- or NM condition, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile). A fabulous and incredible record with a great pristine look and a superb sound quality after 35 years!!! The kind of sound quality a record like this record deserves!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so BID NOW and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

_________________________________________________________

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.

IMPORTANT TO READ

We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I can declare the record as gift if you want.

If you have some doubt or question contact us, we will be glad to answer all that you want to know about this item.
