Description

I have been collecting records for almost 50 years and now it is time to sell some of my collection. I have always tried to collect the best possible vinyl available, always upgrading as I went along. A lot of the LPs I will be listing are still in FACTORY SRINKWRAP with many being virtually unplayed and in mint- condition. All of the LPs that I list will be in at least excellent condition or better!

Up for bid is this OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL 1969 UK UNBOXED STEREO 1st pressing of the Rolling Stone's LP "Let it Bleed" on the Decca record label cat # SKL 5025 and is one of the EARLIEST POSSIBLE 1st pressings with the 1W/ 2W matrix endings and has ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT AUDIO PLAYBACK and appears to have only been played 2 times before my test play. This LP is 100% complete with poster and 1st press blue inner sleeve.

This LP comes with the EARLIEST 1st press "UPTON PRINTING GROUP" laminated cover which is MUCH THICKER & BETTER QUALITY THAN LATER COVERS and was IMMEDIATELY CHANGED. This cover is in EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH 4 sharp corners with just a very very small crease at the top right corner. The mouth and spine are perfect. The laminate is beautiful and shinny with no lifting whatsoever. The sticker advertising the free VK poster is in MINT- condition. The un-laminated back cover has some light rubbing and some light age spots, but is still in beautiful condition for a 45 year old cover.

The UNBOXED STEREO Decca labels are in MINT- condition with NO writing, NO dirt, NO marks whatsoever and only 2 TINY SPINDLE MARKS per side clearly showing that this LP was only played twice before my test play.

The MEGA RARE EARLIEST 1st press vinyl with the 1W/2W matrix ending is in OUTSTANDING EXCELLENT++ UNMARKED CONDITION with a BRILLIANT SHINE and looks as though it was just pressed today! This vinyl sounds as good as it looks with ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT EXCELLENT++ AUDIO PLAYBACK, AMAZING  for a 45 year old record!

The ORIGINAL 1st press poster is in EXCELLENT condition and has clearly never left cover. There is one crease in it that can be seen in the pictures otherwise it would be graded MINT-.

The earliest 1st press blue inner sleeve with the London Choir text not blocked out (this was soon changed and was blocked out) is in EXCELLENT condition.

So there you have it a 100% complete EARLIEST UNBOXED STEREO UK 1st  pressing in almost unbeatable condition. One would have to search long and hard to find a better example than the one on offer here. Please take a look at the other LPs that I have for sale.

Payment by paypal only and is to be made within 7 days from the end of the auction.

Shipping in the USA is $4.00 by media mail. International shipping is $22.50 and shipping to Canada is $15.00.
