A genuine UK mono first pressing of Beggars Banquet — one of the most celebrated and hardest-to-find Rolling Stones records, in its famous original "invitation card" sleeve.

  • Original Decca unboxed red label (mono), with the classic "ffrr" full frequency range recording ear logo
  • Matrix XARL-8476-4A / XARL-8477-3A — among the earliest known stamper codes for this title, confirming a genuine early mono pressing
  • The mono mix is a genuine rarity in its own right — UK mono production was winding down by the time this album was released in December 1968, so mono copies were pressed in far smaller numbers than stereo and are considerably harder to find today
  • Original "invitation" gatefold sleeve — the elegant cream and gold formal-invitation design ("Rolling Stones, Beggars Banquet, R.S.V.P.") used as a compromise after Decca rejected the band's intended graffiti/toilet-wall artwork. Sleeve printed by Garrod and Lofthouse International Limited
