Description & Condition: You are bidding on a rare 1987 Blue Note Records stereo vinyl record. The record is in fine to very fine condition and plays perfectly with no skips or jumps and, no crackling or popping. The original cardboard picture sleeve is in fine condition (see images and our grading scale below). We are not record dealers, collectors or experts. These are items we pick up from auction lots and garage and deceased estate sales. However, we do test each record and give an accurate opinion on condition of the record, based on the grading scale below. We will combine multiple purchases into one package (if feasible) to save you on postage costs.
Image Information: A picture speaks a thousand words and form an important part of the item description so please take the time to look at all the images carefully before placing your bid. All images of the actual item for sale and are photographed under natural lighting (where possible) and have not been digitally doctored. We do not use stock photos so what you see is what you get.
The Way We Grade Records:
Very Fine: Normally brand new (normally sealed) and never played or no signs of play.
Fine: Used but with no visible hairlines, scratches, scuffs or marks and plays back well without skips, jumps, crackling or pops. Labels are in also in very good condition.
Very Good (VG): Possible minimal light hairline scratches or scuffs and may have some very minimal crackling (usually between tracks) but will not greatly affect playing quality of the record. If we reference hairlines, it means it is a light line on the disc that looks like a hair. Hairlines are different to scratches or wear. A hairline is lighter and has limited and less impact on the playing quality, whereas wear or a scratch can cause some level of clicks, pops crackling or interference when playing.
Good (G): May have visible light scratches, scuffing wear and minor warps which will not result in record skipping or jumping but may result in minor surface noise, pops, crackling and clicks. Labels may have scuffs and may or may not have previous owner’s name written on the label.
Poor: Record will not play throughout without skipping or jumping on some tracks, and may include major scratches, scuffing or record may or may not be warped and only listed if very rare record.
The Way We Grade the Artwork Sleeve:
Very Fine: Absolutely perfect in every way – brand new and possibly sealed (if specified).
Fine: Used, but no visible marking, creases, or writing.
Very Good (VG): Used and may have minor creases, ring wear, previous owner's name in pen, and general wear and tear may be visible.
Good (G): Used with visible writing, use of correction fluid, noticeable wear and creasing, possible moisture damage, possible minor tears (usually repaired).
Poor: Major creases, tears, heavily marred.
Combined Postage Information: We will combine any auction or fixed price item into one package (if feasible) to save you on postage. If you are buying multiple items please let us know and then wait until we adjust the invoice before making payment.
For those concerned about shipping cost please note: The shipping pricing is out of my hands and Australia Post has recently increased their prices but only charge what is costs to post item with tracking.
Parcel Post with Signature: We highly recommend you use this option as it also offers priority handling and tracking. There is an option to include a signature requirement at your end but is extra. Extra cover is also available for loss or damage in transit for more valuable and delicate items. If you choose not to opt for a signature and/or extra cover, we will not be responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
Domestic Extra Cover: Extra cover against loss or damage in transit is available on registered articles only and is calculated at $1.50 per $100 value or part thereof, in excess of $100 and up to a maximum of $5000. This option is highly recommended for items valued over $100.
Worldwide Shipping Costs: International shipping will vary depending on your location in the world so please ask for a quote before placing your bid to avoid disappointment at check-out time. The zones are generally divided up into United States and Canada, Europe, and Asia Pacific and there is a maximum weight of 20 kg.
Tracking is supplied on all posters posted and we will combine items to save you on postage so please notify us if you are bidding on more than one item and we will combine all you items onto the one invoice.
Registered Post International: (signature required at your end) is available to most International destinations for about $6 extra. We highly recommend you use this option as it also offers priority handling, basic tracking where available, and a signature on delivery.
International Extra Cover: ($9.60 for 1st $100 and $2.50 per $100 thereafter to a maximum of $5000) is also available to most International destinations. We will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit if this option is not taken.
