Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare first U.K. STEREO pressing of The Pretty Things – Emotions on the BLACK Fontana label, cat. no. STL 5425.
The record is in EX minus condition, there are a couple non – sounding hairlines and a very small sounding mark on the first track of side 1. If the mark was not there, this record would have been a full Excellent at least. The TEXTURED labels are in EX condition, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The flipback cover is in VG+++ condition, there are a couple tiny bald spots along the top seam, some very slight wear in the corners and on the back there is some light age browning and a very tiny price sticker. Besides mentioned tiny defects this cover looks great; no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.
This is an extremely hard to find first U.K. STEREO pressing of the Pretty Things’ third album called Emotions. The cover has some slight signs of handling and storage and although there is a tiny mark on the record, it still looks and plays fantastic. Just how many of these copies are left in this condition? Most of these records went to a lot of parties and were severly overplayed, but not this one! This album is a real must have for all Pretty Things collectors, so this is your chance to complete your Pretty Things collection! Happy Bidding!
