Time is against me so I will not be able to give my usual detailed description on the next few records. However, I will still be playing every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grade and will add a few notes on the audio, cover, inner sleeve etc.
This genuine first pressing plays to a fantastic standard with barely any intrusion. The clarity, depth and power of the audio is stunning and the only 'real' background is a small number of light ticks on the S2 intro. There is only the bare minimum of light static in a couple of places and this is a record that has been so well cared for over the decades. Let's not forget it is nearly 55 years old! It plays beautifully and the classic 'Nights In White Satin' is a prime example of the clarity on offer here, it is a superb version. The vinyl is visually stunning with very little spindle wear and has clearly not been played very much at all. There are no marks or scratches, has only a small number of very faint hairlines and still has a lovely glossy sheen.
The laminated cover is in superb condition with barely any wear. The edges, spine and corners are near perfect and the front cover is unmarked. The unlaminated back cover is very clean with only a minor touch of ringwear and only minimal fading near the bottom edge. The original blue Stereo inner has no side splits and just the one tear on the central 'window'. It has minimal creasing and only a little age related fading.
