Description
Here is another selection from a collection of original 50s/60s LPs.
This is the UK original mono of the Kinks' "Something Else By The Kinks"
Again, I shall assume if you are reading this then you know what you are looking at, so straight to the relevant details.
Pye NPL 18193
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: NMPL (the M is scratched out) 18193A - 1 * M
Side 2: NMPL (again, the M is scratched out) 18193B - 1 * M, followed by MPL 18193B 1 * M (this is all scored though).
The sleeve is in incredibly good condition. It has a faint touch of ringwear at the front top, a 1cm patch of rubbing through on the bottom, and a touch of wear to the opening. The flipbacks are totally intact and there is no creasing.
The labels have a few spindle traces, but are very clean with no stickers/marks/writing. I apologise for the quality of the pictures.
The vinyl has a couple of flaws. On side 1 there is a 1cm light scratch and on side 2 there is a 5cm light scratch. The vinyl retains a lustrous finish.
I have played the record through twice and it does not skip or stick. The audio I would grade as near excellent.
The record will be very securely packed in a box mailer with lots of extra padding.
