Black Sabbath "Black Sabbath Vol.4" vinyl album VG with NM sleeve

Super rare and collectable first UK pressing
Genuine copy of the very 1st press with 1Y//1 2Y//1 and PORKY/PECKO in the runouts.  With no 'Made in England' on the labels and in 1st issue sleeve with VO PRICE CODE on the rear and with internal booklet and no track timings inside the gatefold. 72 date code.
Original white paper inner sleeve.
Has original Porky/Pecko name etchings on dead run off vinyl. "Porky Pecko" ("Pecko Duck") refers to the signature of George "Porky" Peckham, a renowned UK mastering engineer known for cutting high quality vinyl in the 1970s . His signatures in the dead wax (runoff groove) indicate a hot, punchy, and highly sought-after, excellent-sounding pressing.
Black Sabbath's  Vol. 4 is the British heavy metal bands 4th. studio album, released in September 1972 on the Vertigo label (catalogue no. 6360071) in the UK.  The album reached number 8 on the UK Albums Chart, featuring 10 tracks including "Supernaut," "Snowblind," and "Changes," and was notable for being self-produced. 

Unlike most eBay UK market albums which cost $25-$50 to ship, mine ship from Texas not UK and are NOT SUBJECT TO IMPORT TARIFFS - so no nasty extra tariff invoice from the shipping company before they will deliver it!

I was a club DJ during the 1970s and 1980s in the UK, and always bought the latest LPs as soon as they were released.

As soon as I got them home I would copy them onto cassette for general use so most of my vinyl only ever got one or two plays on the turntable.

I moved to California in 1995 and then to Texas in 2012. 

My entire 2000 plus treasured vinyl collection followed me around the world and has been meticulously stored upright in a climate controlled environment for the last forty years or so.

I recently decided to let my fantastic and eclectic collection go and you will find many highly desirable and collectable records that you will be proud to own and play for yourself.
