THE KINKS Live At Kelvin Hall LP 1967 1st UK PRESS A1/B1 EX RARE!

This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system.  I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - Rare original 1967 STEREO 1st UK pressing of The Kinks - Live At Kelvin Hall. Released on the Pye label catalogue no. NSPL 18191. The record is housed in the original front laminated flip-over sleeve by Garrord & Lofthouse - 'patents pending' text and the original poly lined inner sleeve. Note - The stereo pressings normally had the catalogue no. stickered over the mono sleeve. It looks like this one missed relabelling as the cat no. on the sleeve is for the mono pressing while the label is for the correct stereo version.

Vinyl Condition:- EX Gleaming vinyl with just a few minor light surface hairlines only visible when viewed at an angle under bright light and one small 1cm marks that is not audible. Test play produced overall excellent sound quality. Third track side one just has a few seconds of a mild background tick but this is nothing major and not intrusive on the music. Any other tick is just random, infrequent and in the background.  This record has been fully test played before this auction

Sleeve Condition:- VG There is a diagonal crease across bottom left hand corner and some other lesser ones in the front laminate around the edges. Partial ringwear in the upper portion. The back is slightly yellowed with age and small area in the top right shows a bit darker where a sticker has been. There are no splits or rips, no wear to edges and hardly anything on the corners and the spine is crisp and fully readable.

Label Condition:- VG Spindle marks on both sides and some wear around the spindle holes

 Grading Abbreviations

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
