A UK pressing from the brilliant Kinks - their 3rd and recorded with George Martin attending to production.
They were getting single chart hits constantly in Britain, with self penned brilliant songs from Ray Davies - who counts as a definite 'legendary' composer alongside Lennon and McCartney.
This lp only includes 'Sunny Afternoon' as a hit release, all the other tracks are special to this album! Great value then, to record buyers in 1966 - and now.
This copy sounds really great, nice and clear, and the cover too is remarkable.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG+ to ++ overall. Wispy sleeve scuff marks visible under a bright lamp. Playing wonderfully, no distortion from wear.
Raspberry red Labels are in EXCELLENT condition, no stickers or stains. Spindle lines only.
The LAMINATED 'three flipback tab' COVER is EXCELLENT. Clean rear card, nice shine and no age yellowing. Stickers denote this as a STEREO issue, as there were only Mono covers for the UK, and the stereo disc is only for foreign distribution.
