Cover

The fragile gatefold cover does have evidence of its age which I shall detail and is strictly graded Very Good Plus. The front cover shows a few light laminate creases and some handling marks and has some laminate loss down the spine edge. There is no ring-wear evident. The laminated rear cover is clean with a glossy white appearance with just one two light handling lines, there is however some loss of laminate down the spine edge and also down the left hand edge. Down this left hand edge the gap between the end of the laminate and the record edge is between one to two centimeters.

The gatefold inner has little to comment on except for what appears to be two patches of glue residue marks at the bottom edge which is a pity as the rest of the interior is excellent.

All of the covers corners are nice and square with just the smallest amount of tip rub evident.

Queen Victoria lyric insert

The fragile lyric insert topped with the head of Queen Victoria acting as a pull out is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or unwanted marking. The only defect to note is the presence of a few pin holes which show on the bottom half of the insert when opened out, but none at all are present on the upper Queen Victoria half so is a relatively minor fault. There is nothing else to mention apart from one two very light age spots.

Inner Sleeve

The album comes in a plain white inner sleeve which is in excellent condition

Sound Quality

The sound quality overall is excellent though there is some audible light background crackle. This is present on the run in and between track grooves and during the quieter passages of the tracks. It is light however and does not dominate the music but must be mentioned. The album plays with no sound distortion or of course any skips or jumps.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The grading system I use is from Record Collector: - Mint, Excellent, Very Good with +/- to distinguish borderline grades.

All records are carefully visually inspected under bright light and play graded before auction to avoid any disappointment to buyers, so bid with confidence.

A full no quibble refund for the cost of the record will be offered if you are not satisfied for ANY reason.

I treat all vinyl with the greatest respect whether £5 or £50, so all records are sent out with plastic covers in professional mailers and two protective cardboard stiffeners. I always separate records from their covers and original inner sleeves

for posting to prevent seam splits occurring during shipping.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to take out any insurance cover required. I would advise insurance to be taken out on any item sale greater than £30.00 as protection against loss or damage during shipping. Without this additional insurance the full value of items above £30.00 that are lost or damaged will NOT be able to be recovered.

Following the close of the auction I will send an invoice within twenty four hours. All winning bidders must make contact within three days of the end of the auction or I reserve the right to withdraw the item or select the second chance option and offer the item to another bidder.

Please do not bid if you have significant negative feedback unless checking first please.
