 original deep groove mono lp, Nov. 1957 recording

Jim Hall, Red Mitchell, Bruz Freeman are Hamp's rhythm section

Record Condition (1 to ten scale): 7.0 or better,  sonically pure sound, light surface noise occurs in the background,

VPI cleaned, music plays above grade assigned

                                  Jacket Condition (1 to 10 scale): 8.5, original frame jacket, very light shelf wear

Grading Code

10.0 to 9.5  - record appears unplayed, no visible wear to the record surface

9.4 to 8.5 - limited  previous usage, record surface appears similar to unplayed, with very light inaudible handling/storage marks 

8.4 to 7. 6 - Record carefully used, minor handling marks are inaudible, retains most of its original vinyl appearance, relatively unused player copy

7.5 to 6.5  - A more used record, light handling marks consistent with age are generally inaudible, any audible wear borders on the insignificant

6.4 or less - occasional surface wear is sometimes audible, record still sounds "better", and plays with above average sound quality.
