THE FOUR SOUNDS and the Lawrence Keyes Trio 45
"Afraid" / "Tall Lanky Papa"
Very RARE Doo Wop/R&B! Last copy was for sale in 2014. "Afraid" is a beautiful ballad with great male vocal harmonies while "Tall Lanky Papa" is a fantastic rocker with a jaw-dropping/mind-blowing guitar solo in the middle section!
This is an original pressing, as indicated by the thick lines and purplish tone of the blue (as opposed to the repros) on the center labels and the center ridge. Matrix numbers are hand-etched on dead-wax and read M 310-1 and M 310-2 with 26C and the letter M (or the number 3?) etched vertically.
Visually Graded Record VG+; That is strictly my opinion, please see pictures and judge yourself. Returns will not be accepted because you disagree with my grade.
