Description
THE ELECTRIC FLAG - THE TRIP (original soundtrack)
A truly superb condition copy of this rare and sought after US 1st press original, barely played and with the sleeve still partially in the original shrinkwrap
Year/Label : 1967 SIDEWALK U.S. Label number : ST 5908 Matrix numbers : ST1-5908-A1, ST2-5908-B2Excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl - flat and retaining it's original jet black lacquered sheen and in normal daylight comes across as unmarked - a real gleamer. Absolutely gorgeous vinyl and it is only with very close inspection under a bright light that it is just possible to detect a couple of very small and extremely light scuff marks and the very occasional small and barely discernible "shadow" line - nothing really, and purely superficial. Amazing to find a 1st press copy of this 58 year old LP in such wonderful and little played condition as this. The labels are again excellent plus (EX+) - near perfect and completely unmarked with the single exception of a very small and barely detectable extremely faint spindle trail on the sdie 1 label. Clearly, this is a record that has been played only a few times. An excellent plus (EX+) condition outer sleeve still with the original shrinkwrap covering the front side and two thirds of the reverse side. As you would expect...firm edges, perfect corners, a rigid spine with all spine text perfectly intact, no scuffing, no bending, no open edge fraying, and just a couple of very trivial and superficial small handling/storage marks on the area of the reverse side still not covered by the original shrinkwrap. Excellent plus (EX+) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, distortion, clicks or background crackle. Great tone and clarity throughout. Worth buying if only for the side 2 Mike Bloomfield penned "Fine Jung Thing" - brilliant! Comes with near perfect condition plain white inner sleeve.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.
Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 55 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
