THE EASYBEATS - GOOD FRIDAY Released in 1967 on the UNITED ARTISTS label, this is the original and hard to find Dutch first pressing of this classic EASYBEATS album titled "GOOD FRIDAY". This is one of the rarest 60's beat albums that seldom turns up.
The album which was produced by Shel Talmy. For anyone who may not have heard this album, 10 out of the 12 songs on this album are Vanda - Young compositions including FRIDAY ON MY MIND alongside the Elvis classic Hound Dog and Ike & Tina Turner Turner's River Deep Mountain High. Not an album you see offered too often these days.
Original Dutch pressing from 1967 on the United Artists label (MUA S - 3047). The album comes with Artone printed front laminated flip back single sleeve which has a different photo on the back to the UK issue. Record and sleeve are in very good condition.
Maybe, the first great australian band. George Young and Harry Vanda, both playing guitar, and Little Stevie singing between them. A few years after, Young & Vanda became the producers and managers of the greatest Rock'n'Roll Band ever known in Australia, AC/DC.
