This is the rare UK 1st Press of 'The Doors' by The Doors. This press is complete with the earliest A1/B1 matrix, the rare textured red Elektra label and the original fully laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has has a bright shine with a couple of marks and a number of hairlines on both sides. On playing the sound is warm and clear with light background noise and a couple of pops. It still plays well and there are no jumps or skips. The matt textured Elektra label is bright and completely clean. The black is bold and the text is sharp. There is light spindle wear.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. The laminate has a sensational bright shine, the image is sharp and the colours are bold. There is the very slightest wear to the opening edge and a couple of light laminate creases, but these are insignificant, it still looks absolutely superb. The whole cover still feels extremely solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
