Rare!!!! De Lux Verry limited RE-ISSUE from mid 90s. UK psych with a hard, sarcastic edge early Mick Farren (writer for OZ magazine which had a well publicized bust in the UK) pre- Pink Fairies (who were contemporaries with Hawkwind)

Ptooff! is a 1967 album by the UK underground group The Deviants. Mick Farren and Russell Hunter had met a 21 year old millionaire who funded the £700 required for this recording. Eight thousand copies were sold on their own Impressario label via mail order through the UK Underground press, such as Oz and International Times, before being picked up and released by Decca Records. The original private copy remains a true collectors item.

The personnel on this LP are Sid Bishop (guitar), Mick Farren (vocals), Russell Hunter (drums) and Cord Rees (bass). The tracklist is: Opening/I’m Coming Home/Child Of The Sky/Charlie/Nothing Man/Garbage/Bun/Deviation Street.
