Issued during 1967 and so very hard to find, here's a rare UK first issue copy of this superb cover of the Mary Love classic from the young LINDA LEWIS with "YOU TURNED MY BITTER INTO SWEET" on the UK POLYDOR imprint # 56173 and backed with a great B side with "DO YOU BELIEVE IN LOVE".
This copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in mint minus condition with light sleeve rubs and minimum of light crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. It has the 3-prong centre intact and the labels are extremely clean on both sides with little evidence of spindle wear. Still paired with an original company sleeve and very much a top copy for the DJ or collector (see picture scans).
