Description

Up for auction is a very rare CRAMPS 'HUMAN FLY' 7" single. 45 rpm. The flip side song is 'DOMINO', written by Sam Phillips. This is the original first pressing which came with a GLOW-IN-THE-DARK picture sleeve. The words 'The Cramps' and the lightbulb above are both coated in glowing paint (it still works/glows too!)
Side A has 'NR9927-A' etched in the run-out area, plus what looks like 'JE'. Song length is 2:12, written by RORSSHACH - INTERIOR, # 668A
Side B has 'NR9927-B' etched in the run-out area, plus the 'JE'. Song length is 3:05, written by the great SAM PHILLIPS, # 668B. BOTH ARE 45 RPM STEREO RECORDINGS.
The band was LUX INTERIOR - vocals, IVY RORSCHACH - guitar, BRYAN GREGORY - guitar, and NICK KNOX - drums. Produced by ALEX CHILTON (box tops / big star). Recorded in Memphis Tennessee, October 1977

Both disc and sleeve are in excellent condition. I'm the original owner, and I bought this at BLEEKER BOB'S RECORDS in NYC, back in 1978, when his store was a few doors off West 8th St. The cramps used to play regularly at CBGB's back then.
