FABULOUS REGGAE ORIGINAL from my own collection.
Super REGGAE SINGLE from BLUES BUSTERS 'IVE BEEN TRYING' / 'PRETTY GIRLS' was released on the sought after UK DOCTOR BIRD label in 1966.
AS IF THIS SINGLE WASNT HARD ENOUGH TO FIND THIS IS THE UBER RARE UK PRESS FOUR PRONG PUSH OUT CENTRE VERSION WITH INTACT CENTRE. THIS IS MUCH HARDER TO FIND THAN THE SOLID CENTRE VERSION.
Have you seen another copy on Ebay, especially WITH PUSH OUT CENTRE INTACT. Unlikely you will get another chance so grab a piece of Reggae History.
It has survived with only MINOR surface scuffing (not greatly affecting sound). There is some background static/crackle but nothing that detracts from the music.
The LABELS are VERY GOOD Plus and have NO Writing, Stickers or Tears but there is a little wear around the spindle hole on side 'A' (see pics for exact condition).
The SINGLE PLAYGRADES AT VERY GOOD (VG) condition and RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE.
It is supplied in its near mint Doctor Bird Repro sleeve and a poly sleeve for extra protection.
This record virtually never comes up for sale on Ebay. I grade strictly to the Rare Record Grading System and include a definition of grading below:
Rare Record Collector Grading: Very Good Description: The record shows signs of having been played. There is minimum lessening in sound quality although there may be some non invasive surface noise. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
