“Yesterday... And Today”
THE BEATLES
Original thick cardboard single type paste over 3rd State Butcher cover with a professionally peeled trunk slick without any damage to the 'Butcher' slick. The design of the cover became a subject of controversy in the US, which led to Capitol Records withdrawing the album from the stores and putting a paste over slick with a different design (known as “Trunk Cover”) above the original Butcher cover. The 3rd State Butcher cover refers to the album where the trunk paste over slick was peeled in order to reveal the original Butcher cover underneath. It’s a great pleasure looking at this immaculate cover as it’s missing the most common and obvious peel signs like the remaining bits and pieces of the trunk paste over slick, the spots with the damaged Butcher cover, glue residue and uneven surface. When holding this cover in your hands, there’s an impression that you’re holding the 1st state Butcher cover. The original textured Butcher slick retains all of its initial vivid print colors. You can see on the photos the great condition of the removed original Trunk paste over slick, which only has some very light creases and tears that inevitably occur during the peel. Yet, it’s fully intact whereas the majority of the removed paste over Trunk slicks are found in a far from perfect condition. The back cover has a factory designator RIAA #6, identifying the issue as a Capitol Records, Los Angeles plant pressing. The back cover contains some very light age spots along with some light scuffing at the top right corner. Very light occasional edge and corner wear. Original Capitol Records T-2553 mono catalog number label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's edge without the "subsidiary" print. Original very early thick vinyl pressing with the stamped first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl. The glossy vinyl contains some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve. Original Capitol Records printed PE 12-3BL (Los Angeles) gold 'CAPITOL 66 SOUND GREAT!' paper inner sleeve with adverts for other Capitol Records releases in Near Mint condition. Don’t miss your opportunity to acquire this very rare 3rd state Butcher cover with an immaculate peel.

POLICY:
Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid.
