THE BEATLES
”Yellow Submarine”
Export Edition
Apple Records Mono PMC-7070
Incredibly rare extremely early 1st UK mono ultimate press of The Beatles Yellow Submarine, Odeon Export Edition. Original laminated flipback cover, printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The mono cover of this copy has the PMC 7070 catalog number and ‘’Also available on Stereo No. PCS 7070’’ in the upper right corner and red lines above and below sleeve notes on the back. The front cover contains the very first stage limited quantity Parlophone oversized 3’ x 2.25’ gold-foil sticker. I think it’s an insanely rare sticker as I’ve never seen it on the export copy. The left bottom corner of the back cover contains a small gold-foil ‘’Odeon Regd. Trade Mark of The Gramophone Co. Ltd.’’ sticker, covering the Apple Records trademark, which wasn’t registered or recognized in the country where this issue was exported to. Original dark green British Apple Record labels containing ‘’An E.M.I. Recording’’ on the left and ‘’Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists’’ text above the spindle hole, covered by another gold-foil ’’Odeon Regd. Trade Mark of The Gramophone Co. Ltd.’’ sticker. The album comes with the original black inner sleeve with a die-cut circular opening on one side to expose the Apple label. The vinyl contains the first matrix numbers: Side 1 - XEX 715-1 3GG / Side 2 - XEX 716-1 1H. The cover is very clean without any ring wear on the front and back, no writing or splits. There is some light creasing, very characteristic of a laminated surface, at the bottom and mouth of the front cover and at the bottom of the back cover. The spine doesn’t have any wear, the text is fully readable and remains sharp. The cover has some light corner wear and very light creasing at the top left of the back cover. The original black inner sleeve is in great condition, considering that these sleeves are always found with a lot of tears, this inner sleeve almost doesn’t have any tears, though it has splits on the edges and bottom. I grade the vinyl as Excellent Minus Side 1 and Very Good Plus Plus Side 2 as it has a few non-feelable marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve. The vinyl displays a beautiful gloss. The vivid labels are very clean, only having some very light spindle marks, seen only under a certain angle.
VINYL - SIDE 1 EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) SIDE 2 VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)

POLICY:
Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
