THE BEATLES ~ YELLOW SUBMARINE LP
Original 1969 U.K. first issue mono pressing released on the Apple label PMC 7070.
Super rare Beatles album in glorious mono. Stereo copies are hard to locate but original first issue mono pressings have all but disappeared.
Martrix numbers are : XEX 715-1 and XEX 716-1.
As for the vinyl, well here's the tricky part. Let's start with Side two which appears to be virtually unplayed and is in stunning NEAR MINT condition. Side one appears to have been played maybe once at the most but has somehow managed to aquire a few squiggly surface marks across several tracks. However, and here's the good news, they are entirely non-audible. The album plays like an absolute dream !!! Side one is therefore in VG+ condition visually but NEAR MINT audibly, if that makes any sense !
The laminated flip-back sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with just faint overall wear and a very small nick on the rear opening edge near the top. Ignore the camera glare along the bottom edge. Contains the red lines above and below the rear sleevenotes. Comes complete with the original black inner sleeve which is in excellent shape with no splits or tears.
