Description
THE BEATLES - With The Beatles (UK, Parlophone, PCS 3045, 1963) A very nice copy of the first stereo pressing which has several label variations not found on later editions: The label has "Recording first published 1963" but there is no "Sold in the UK..." credit. Side 2's label incorrectly spells track 3 as "You Really Gotta Hold On Me" and there is a Jobete publishing credit for "Money" (which was later rectified). Side 1 has a KT tax code.The matrices are YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2.
Condition:
Sleeve: EX, the front laminated cover has some small creases around the edges and a couple near the opening edge towards the bottom. The back is very clean.
Disc: EX+, graded under a 100w bulb side 1 looks basically NM, side 2 has very few hairlines and one or two light marks which don't affect play. The labels are clean with one or two very light spindle trails and the "Use Emitex" inner is present. The disc has been cleaned on a Loricraft PRC-3 vacuum cleaner and playback is very nice, surface noise is virtually non existent even between songs.
