This is a complete UK Original of the 'White Album' by The Beatles. This press has the top opening sleeve, dark green Apple labels, ''Sold In The UK' label text, 'Mfd In UK' on all labels, black inner sleeves, all four photographs and the lyric poster. The records have the early 1/1/1/2 matrix and the original heavy vinyl.  The records are original, the black inners are original. However what makes this press really special is the early 0066678 number.

The records are in Very Good condition. The vinyl on each side has a high gloss, with a couple of marks and a few hairlines on each side. On playing the sound is rich and vibrant. There are moments of background noise and a couple of clicks on the marks, but they still sound bold and clear. The dark green Apple labels are completely clean. The green is bold and the white is bright. The black text is sharp and there is only light spindle wear. The records are complete with their original black inner sleeves.

The black inner sleeves are in Very Good condition. There are very nice examples of these black sleeves which are always so worn. They do have a little wear around the die-cut centres and a repair but the edges are extremely firm and the sleeves are solid.

The 1st press four photographs are in Very Good condition. The colours are bright, they just have a few light creases. They are completely clean and they all have their original sheen.

The 1st press matt double sided poster is in Good condition. The folds are still firm but there is a tear on the bottom corner. It is still clean and bright.

The Garrod & Lofthouse top opening rare early 0066678 laminated sleeve is in Very Good condition. The laminate has a sensational bright gloss and it is completely clean. The white has a little discolouration but is still very bright and the number and Beatles embossed text are sharp and unworn. There are a couple of laminate creases and a few small indentations. The inside images and text are superb. The flipbacks are sealed and complete. There are two quite deep indentations on the back and a small mark but it is still very glossy. There is only slight wear to the opening edge. The spine is firm and the whole sleeve still feels extremely solid.
