THE BEATLES
RARE 'KINFAUNS' WHITE ALBUM

This LP contains recordings from the master demo tape that The Beatles themselves produced on George Harrison's reel-to-reel tape machine in May 1968 at George Harrison's home in Esther known as 'Kinfauns'.
It is The Beatles as you've never heard them, rehearsing and exploring their new songs for the 'White Album', which was released later that year in November. Accompanied only by their acoustic guitars John, Paul, and George recorded themselves by double tracking on to the tape.
The demo tape was held in a vault and later sold at auction, and found its way in to the hands of professional bootleggers somewhere in Europe in around the 1990's who produced a limited amount of these good quality and hauntingly originally sounding vinyl LP's. The audio is only two generations away from that original master tape!
The demo tracks on the tape had not been released before on any format.
The makers of this album have manufactured the tracks onto the vinyl in the order that the recordings were made on the tape, and have also added in an acoustic part of Helter Skelter that was recorded at Abbey Road Studios on 11th June 1968, and the last two tracks 'Rocky Racoon' and 'Julia' are not from the tape, but were sourced from recording sessions made previously in India where the The Beatles wrote their tunes for the White Album.

This complete set is all in and Excellent condition. The vinyl LP has only received a few plays, and the outer sleeve, the inner sleeve, and the double sided lyrics and picture poster have all been handled carefully. It has been play-tested and whoever produced this LP have used the best possible sound transferring techniques available, as the audio Excellent; true, raw, and original. The vinyl has not been produced in a mainstream vinyl pressing factory and so the surface texture is not finely tuned to a commercial record, but it is plain to see that the bootleggers have conformed to Very high standards akin to that in their manufacturing processes.
It is a clean, striking and robust heavy white marble vinyl, with surfaces unmarked by plays with no groove wear, and just a few ultra light blemishes that were part of the original pressing. The labels are Excellent with no spindle point location line traces around the centre groove. The vinyl lays true and flat on the turntable with no warps and has no defects that affect the audio.
