Album Description:

The TWO First Issue STEREO Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, all bearing the ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale.…’, together with ‘An E.M.I. Recording’, ‘Mfd. In UK’ and ‘stereo’ printed to all four record labels.

All four record labels are in REMARKABLE near mint condition. Absolutely NO fading to the VIVID Black print or damage to any of the four record labels, just a few, insignificant, very faint centre spider trails.

In our opinion, both BARELY PLAYED Vinyl Discs could not have received more more than three to four CAREFUL Plays, including our grading assessment. All four sides of the Two Vinyl LPs look mint , we cannot fault the Vinyl playing surfaces in any way. They look as they would have done back in 1968 when the album was released.

Audio Quality:

As expected, due to the PRISTINE condition of each of the Vinyl Discs, the SOUND QUALITY is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and FAULTLESS – just a PERFECT listening experience through all the tracks from beginning to end.

The TWO 12" Vinyl LPs come in Two ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner bags which are in very good condition. Both inner bags are very respectable, showing inevitable creasing/record indentation. One has a 2" (5cm) split to one edge. Both have a little wear around the opening edge and the die-cut centres.

….And are housed in an ORIGINAL, FULLY LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve. The FIRST ISSUE Stereo Sleeve is TOP OPENING and NUMBERED 0309254 - the number is printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal black and white portraits of each of The Beatles together with the track listing. The top right hand corner of the reverse of the sleeve is printed ‘Stereo’.

The sleeve is in HIGHLY RESPECTABLE and in STRONG excellent condition, FIRM and CLEAN, the Laminate is VERY GLOSSY throughout. The number on the front panel is CLEARLY PRINTED. The sleeve has retained its WHITENESS, with only mild age toning to the edges. There is only mild record impression to the front and reverse panel. The inner gatefold is in PERFECT condition, NO damage to the internal flipbacks. All track listing and the four black and white images of The Beatles are UNDAMAGED. The spine edge shows slight age discoloration – nothing serious - and the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘ CLEARLY readable. The back panel too is CLEAN, NEAT and STRONG showing light rubbing to the lower spine edge - Overall an IMPRESSIVE Original White Album Stereo Sleeve.

There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle. All are in excellent plus condition, NO pin holes, tearing or writing, a couple have just the tiniest, insignificant, corner crease to the top left hand corner.

…..And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse in FINE excellent plus condition, NO pin holes, NO major damage, just a tiny ½" (2 cm) tear to one of the bottom folds.

In our Professional opinion, the two Vinyl Discs in this COMPLETE and ORIGINAL White Album Set would NEVER REQUIRE UPGRADING. Interest in ORIGINAL and COMPLETE examples of this ICONIC Beatles UK WHITE ALBUM release, in the overall IMPRESSIVE condition such as this one, will continue to RISE, thereby increasing the longer term INVESTMENT POTENTIAL.
