SLEEVE: EX+ CONDITION
The Whitest (see picture) ‘White Album’ I have had the pleasure of owning. Brilliant example, tri-folds/edges are sharp and clean, no stains or blemishes. No writing/indents on either side.
INNER DYE CUT SLEEVES: EX
There is mild creasing on both sides, but both are in great shape for their age. One sleeve has one small tear. These have not been used since purchase and are housed in a re-sealable sleeve.
PICTURES AND SPACER: EX+
All four pictures are in excellent plus condition, darker first pressing prints. No pin holes, blu tac (residue), writing, stains, rips.
With rare ‘first pressing’ spacer, the spacer is slightly transparent, very hard to find.
POSTER: NM
No pin holes or residue. No writing rips or stains. This is the best poster I have ever seen! Looks new! Apart from the folds there is very little wear to the poster. Never been hung, displayed.
VINYL
VISUAL: Side 1/Side 2: Near Mint * Side 3/Side 4 Excellent Plus
AUDIO: Side 1/Side 2: Excellent Plus * Side 3/Side 4 Excellent
Sides 1 and 2: Hardly a scratch, visually mint. No sleeve removal, or scratches. Does have a couple of light hairlines, haven’t looked at every light possibility but against daylight and under bright lights both sides are very clean. The labels are perfect. Can't see any spindle wear, both sides are stunning.
Side 3 and 4: Both sides have mild sleeve removal, noticeable more under strong light - not visible under daylight. Both sides are scratch free, shiny and clean. One spindle line on Side 3’s label, and three spindle lines on Side 4’s label.
Audio: Side 1 and 2 has mild crackle on the run in but not throughout. This record has not been played much, clear, punchy mono recording which sounds amazing.
Side 3 and 4 has mild crackle on the run in and faint low crackling in some quieter places, but this is not distracting. Great audio again throughout.
Both records sound as good as each other, I would just say sides 3 and 4 have been played more.
This record has been very well looked after, it’s 50 years old!
It’s the best I’ve seen.
Overall a strong EX+ copy of this much sought after album.
The record is housed in a gatefold pvc sleeve, with new anti-static inner sleeves and re-sealable sleeves for the poster/dye cuts.
