 THE BEATLES TAPES

FROM THE DAVID WIGG INTERVIEWS

1976 PRESSING 

The interviews took place in 1969

Sleeve: 
The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent Minus condition. A little storage wear down the opening side on the front panel only and a couple of thumbnail creases on the front panel. All other edges are neat and the spine is completely intact with clear title text, corners are not worn . Has retained its glossy laminate and the booklet inside is perfect. No tears or rips etc.

The Vinyl: Sides 1, 2, and 4 in Excellent Plus condition with no sign of play, even under a halogen light it is difficult to find any light marks. Side 3 is Very Good Plus owing to a few non-feelable light hairlines. The surfaces project a jet black pressing sheen and the vinyl is clean with no groove wear, scuffs or scratches.

Lays completely flat on the turntable.

The Labels: Excellent Plus condition. Hardly any visible wear to the spindle perimeter, and no spindle line traces visible on any label.

The Audio: No crackle, pops, skips, jumps or sticks or any background noise or anything that detracts from the listening experience, on sides 1, 2, and 4, but side 3 plays with audible tics. It would be extremely hard to find a better sounding copy though at this price.
