Here is a truly rare and great recording by the master bebop pianist and the former piano player in Charlie Parker's working band from 1949-1950.
This edition (original issue) is a very hard record to find, and it is in very good condition. It has hardly any signs of wear or use. However due to the fact that the pressings on this label were pretty poor, there is a noticeable level of surface noise. Although it might be more surface noise than usual for a record from the 60s but it's not too bad, and in my opinion, does not detract from the overall listening enjoyment of these tracks.
Vinyl: Very Good. (VG) Visually I normally would grade this VG+ but having done a quick listening test there is a bit of surface noise even though the record was pretty clean. There is a small bit of water stains on the labels but just barely. Otherwise in great condition for a rare original LP such as this.
Cover: Very Good++ (VG++) The cover is in amazing condition - pretty close to Near Mint but I like to grade on the conservative side.
