This is the Rare Original 1967 Mono Capitol/EMI LP Catalog number MAS-2653
This unique collectable version has the original Monural Version of this great album.
- The original gatefold sleeve bright yellow with 4 beatles in Sgt Peppers outfits
- The original Black and Rainbow without "subsidiary" inscription along the perimeter of the label
- Rare version, the word "With" omitted on With a little help with my friends on Side 1 label.
- Rare First cover without "NEMS Enterprises" Printed above manufactured by Capitol Records, INC. In Lower right hand corner of back cover
- Without line "All Rights for United States, Canada, Mexico and Philippines controlled by Maclen Music LTD, in lower right hand corner of back cover.
- The original Sgt. Peppers Cut Out sheet, uncut nice
- Original Psycehdelic Red inner sleeve, nice bright colors
The MONO SGT peppers has never been released as a stand alone version or reissued as an LP. This LP is in fine condition, light marks, however plays great. One of the best albums I have owned.
On the Mono version you are hearing the album as it was truly intended to be heard, with audible parts not heard on stereo versions. A must for your BEATLES collection. Good Luck.
