Description
A 1st (the earliest) mono UK pressing of this classic from my own collection with the rare Fourth Proof cover.This was part of the small number of final protoype covers for inspection before full runs were commenced. Just think the Fab Four could have handled this when vetting the cover before it was released for sale..
I have play tested the LP and the sound is still very good.
The record has many surface scratches visible but surprisingly very few affect the sound. Some pops but no jumps.
The cover spine is peeling (see pics)
The gatefold did have my name written on it but I have mostly removed this (see pics).
By the Record Collector gradings I'm giving it VG/VG.
Matrices appear to be : XEX 637-1 L1 / XEX 638-1 A1
The LP will be packed in bespoke LP packaging.
