A SUPERB ORIGINAL 1968 UK FIRST ISSUE OF THIS OBSCURE DERAM RECORD LABEL LP.

The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles and Fripp is the only album from the 1960s psychedelic rock group Giles, Giles and Fripp. In addition to 13 songs, the album contains two comedic spoken word pieces, "The Saga of Rodney Toady" and "Just George", which are interspersed between the songs. The album is a mix of various styles (folk, classical, pop, psychedelic rock and religious music). The original U.S. LP version released in 1968 has a completely different cover than the UK version.

Both record labels are in superb Near Mint condition, beautiful bright and undamaged record labels with just a couple of light signs of play to the centre of each record label.

Side 1 matrix: ZAL-8330-1W and Side 2: ZAL 8331-1W.

Side 1 stampers: JT 1D and Side 2: JT 1 U.

, Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in superb undamaged Excellent Plus Plus condition, clean, bright vinyl surfaces to both sides, with just a couple of light surface hairlines.

The LP plays through both sides without faults.

And is protected in it’s original front laminated Picture sleeve. This sleeve is a very nice example in Excellent condition. No seam splits or tears, the reverse panel is in Very Good Plus condition with light age toning and LP indentation.
