THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME - PCS 3042 - RARE 3RD STEREO PRESSING
Selling on behalf of a friend who has owned this since new, it has only ever been played on stereo equipment
This is the rare 3rd stereo pressing, the first on the black and yellow £ label and retaining the 33 1/3. The record has been professionally cleaned

Side 1 - YEX 94-1 1P
Side 2 - YEX 95-1 1G
Vinyl:
The main issue here is a small feelable mark near the start of Love Me Do which plays through ok on my Rega Planer turntable with audible dull thuds for about 10 revolutions. Otherwise, despite some noticeable light marks, this album plays quite astonishingly, with little if any distortion and surface noise only really audible between tracks, so, about VG+++
Cover:
Original STEREO sleeve, with correct Angus McBean configuration bottom right. There is no unwanted graffiti; lower flipback has 3inch split, upper edge has 1inch partial split. The spine is clear and legible. A nice sleeve, about VG
Inner:
Original Emitex rice-paper lined sleeve, has old sellotape repair
Summary:
A fantastic album and a rare Beatles item that does not come up for sale very often. Fine stereo seperation (listen to Ringo's sticks on Do You Want to Know A Secret?) The whole LP sounds really great played loud!
