Description

For sale is this THE BEATLES Love Me Do -  UK Red Parlophone 45 RPM  PT Tax Code 1962, purchased by myself when I was a teenager The B side of the single has P.S. I Love You on. It does not state 'made in Great Britian' under the Parlophone emblem, though I dont know if this is of significance. I believe it is one of the first pressings though I am not an expert on vinyl in anyway, so have tried to confirm its age per the details below:

  •          The Parlophone Co. Ltd text in lower case
  •          ‘Recording first published 1962’ to the lower left of the label
  •          Ardmore & Beechwood publishing credit
  •          ‘P T’ tax code embossed to the centre of the B label
  •          (Machine stamped) Matrices 7XCE 17144-1N / 7XCE 17145-1N
  •          Mothers/Stampers: GA (Side A) / GG (Side B) 
  •          Also stamped on both sides at 9 o’clock: P (above) ZT (below).

The record appears to be in good condition with no major noticeable scratches or marks, with only light marks/swirls. In fact the single has been in storage for around 20 - 30 years.
