Description

Absolutely gorgeous original 1970 first pressing of the Beatles' Let It Be LP on Capitol/ Apple AR-34001. Bell Sound pressing with original gatefold cover and red apple label with the rare "P.D." credit for Maggie Mae. "Phil & Ronnie" etched on the runoff. The disc is absolutely gorgeous, with barely the slightest wear at all. Plays almost absolutely flawlessly and just beautifully. I say "almost" because there is a sort of pressing defect where there is a very slight dent on the outer edge of the record, which makes a very light bumping sound on side two, just at the beginning of the first song, I've Got a Feeling, but barely, and then between that song and the next, One After 909. The music is much louder than the little bump sound so you really only hear it between the songs, and it is not bad at all. I have to mention it, but really it isn't much of an issue at all, and the whole record plays near perfectly. Just a beautiful listen. The cover has some light general shelfwear, with faint ringwear and very slight signs of use and age, but really not much at all. One of the better looking covers I have seen. This is really a splendid original copy that looks and sounds fantastic.
