Here it is.......the legendary Let it Be Box Set with the Red Apple logo on the back side. Includes a 164 page book, "The Beatles Get Back" which was Deleted December 1970 and replaced with normal LP format without the book....making this edition impossibly rare and only available online for over $1,000.....except now. The vinyl is NEAR MINT with only very minimal wear. Looking at the spindle hole also shows how little play this LP received. Only one small short superficial hairline is present. Green apple logo on the vinyl, red apple logo on the back of the box. These box sets were known to completely fall apart as soon as they were purchased so finding them still intact is insanely rare and one of the The Beatles great vinyl collectibles. Fortunately the vinyl (most important when it comes to value) is in great condition and the sleeve is in a solid Vg+ with no seam splits whatsoever, but the outer box and booklet are in lesser shape. The box is still completely intact but has many creases and wear from over the years storage. It is near impossible to find these box sets in any better condition than this due to the thin UK material that was typically used. The book is meant to be a collector's item and not to be viewed due to the fragility of it. The book is cased in a plastic sleeve and a has a few of the pages loose inside so I recommend carefully handling the book when taking it out. There is no poster included. So what's included is the box, vinyl LP, vinyl lp cover, and the book. The official catalog# of this box set is PXS 1, however the LP sleeve and the record itself carried the standard catalog# PCS 7096. This is the Original box set LP sleeve which had a Red Apple Logo on the reverse. (which would later be replaced with the standard Green Apple for the later non box set ).....SO THIS IS THE VALUABLE RED APPLE VERSION TO HAVE. Very sought after.
