THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This EXCELLENT & scarce 1964 export pressing was manufactured in Germany for sale to Army personnel based there
It is on the red & white gold-rimmed Odeon label: ZTOX 5550
Machine stamped matrices: SHZE 117A-1 & SHZE 117B-1
Vinyl weight: 154g
Housed in a heavy, glossy German-printed cover with paste-on rear panel & original die-cut advertising inner-sleeve

Both are clean, bright white & unblemished with no writing or missing paper.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean, unworn playing surfaces which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. The only noticeable blemish in strong daylight is a small bump int he vinyl material itself on side 2. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some light wispy hairlines and a tiny 2mm scratch on track 1 on side 2 but no further significant visual marks or wear.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT -
This copy has received some light, careful on good equipment and plays without any grove/playwear distortion throughout. The only significant distractions detected by my play-check were two repeating ticks on 'Chains' and around ten on 'Love Me Do'. There are certainly no jumps, repeats or any other major audible faults throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A respectable strong and fully intact example which retains a clean, high-gloss front panel where the only sign of wear is a small bend in the lower right corner. There is some wear to the lower corner tips but the upper two and both opening edges are good unworn shape. The rear panel is clean overall and glossy with just a few faint fingermarks and a touch of storagewear but no writing or missing paper.
The spine, like the other white areas on the front panel, is slightly discoloured, but all the text is present and both seams are smooth & unstressed.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean, flat & uncreased with 'The Beatles - Please, Please Me' discreetly written above the front cenral window.
