THE BEATLES LET IT BE BOX SET (UK) 2U 2U RED APPLE PSX1
The Beatles thirteenth and final official album release, the soundtrack to their fourth film.
In the UK the Let It Be album was first issued as a box set ONLY - six months BEFORE being released as a single album. Catalogue no. of the box set was PXS1, tho this number doesn't appear anywhere on the package.
The book is NOT available seperately and the box set sold out very quickly, making it very collectable - one of the rarest Beatles records.
Outer sleeve: Very Good condition. Normal wear and tear for an item of this age, some scuffs on the edges with each corner displaying slight bashes. Small section of bottom right corner edge missing.
Vinyl: Excellent. Looks like it has only been played once or twice - certainly hasn't been played since the late '70s when I bought it from its original owner. No wear or writing on the labels - minimal spindle marks only visible in strong light and at an angle. YEX.773/4-2U-2U - correct 1st issue matrices.
LP Sleeve: Excellent. Some wear around the edges (visible in photographs). Sleeve has the correct Red Apple logo.
Book: Excellent. Some wear on edges (but not much). Two small marks on back cover where the laminate has 'bubbled'(visible in photo). No loose pages.
Inner tray: Very Good ++. Some wear round the edges and in the corners.
Book holder tray: Good ++. Some wear on the edges. As demonstrated in the photo there's a tear on the top spar - if it wasn't for that I would grade this as Very Good.
Other information: All items which comprise the Box Set are original - no replacements or botched repairs!
