Bill Haley And His Comets-Rockin' Rollin' (1981 German Stereo/Mono 5 vinyl LP Box set compilation issued thru Bear Family Records ?– BFX 15068/5) Each of the 5 LP’s are housed in individual volumed picture sleeves with extensive liner notes and the set includes booklet insert with recording dates etc. all in near mint condition. The outer box is in overall excellent condition showing some edge rubbing to lid (Excellent minus). Bill Haley & His Comets - American rock and roll band, founded in 1952 and continued until Haley's death in 1981. From late 1954 to late 1956, the group placed nine singles in the Top 20, one of those a number one and three more in the Top Ten. The single "Rock Around the Clock" became the biggest selling rock and roll single in the history of the genre and retained that position for some years. Bill Haley was the star with his spit curl and the band's matching plaid dinner jackets and energetic stage behaviour, many fans consider them to be as revolutionary in their time as the Beatles were a decade later.

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
