You’re looking at a really nice copy of this hard to come by BLACK COLORBAND RECORD CLUB PRESSING that has a NEAR MINT VALUE of $500.00!
ALBUM CONDITIONS
RECORD ALBUM: (VG) A great sounding piece of vinyl.
Record: Play tested. No skips. I gave this record a VG rating for cosmetic reasons. Soundwise, it's at least a VG+. (It sounds really good on my crappy little record player, so it should sound even better on a high-end system.) It does have numerous jacket rubs and some minor surface scratches that produce the occasional light pop that can mostly be heard during quiet passages of some of the instrumental numbers. The vinyl still retains some of it’s original luster. (SEE IMAGES.)
Labels: Both labels still look pretty good even with the spindle hole fraying. (SEE IMAGES.)
Sleeve: Comes in a new generic sleeve.
GATEFOLD COVER: (VG+) – (No “8” on the cover.) The front gatefold cover has no noticeable ringwear on either side. The back gatefold cover shows a little bit of ringwear on the outside. There is no seam splitting anywhere. All of the corners have minor dings. There is some barely visible residue on each of the four Beatles on the front cover that is hard to see unless you look at it at an angle under a strong light. These minor imperfections do little to detract from what is still a good looking, solid gatefold cover that is often found in much worse shape. (SEE IMAGES.)
SPINE: Still a nice looking spine, especially for an old gatefold cover like this. All text is present and mostly legible. There’s a little rubbing on the catalog number and both corners are a little frayed. (SEE IMAGES.)

*** RECORD ALBUM & SINGLES SHIPPING: All records will be securely shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers. The records will be removed from their covers and original inner sleeves and placed in acid-free paper or poly sleeves. The cover will be put in a loose-fitting polyethylene sleeve. The cost of these items is included in the Shipping & Handling charge.
