Description
Offered for sale is a 12" vinyl LP, of The Beatles’ Greatest Hits by The Beatles. Released exclusively in Sweden in 1965, this record is pretty hard to find nowadays even in Sweden. The catalogue number is PMCS 306. It comes complete with its original picture sleeve and a plain inner sleeve.
It’s in reasonably good condition overall, especially considering its age. The outer sleeve is tatty; there are clear signs of ringwear on both the front and rear sides, and there is a split to both the spine edge and the bottom edge – please see the pictures.
It also appears that someone has tried to draw hair on the the Beatles themselves in biro – these are small and quite faint marks but are definitely there. There is also what looks like the faint remains of a name sticker in the top right hand corner on the front. – please look at the pictures for a clear view of all of this.
The inner sleeve is starting to split a bit on one edge (see picture), but is in good condition otherwise.
The vinyl itself plays fine, and is clear with only minimal surface scratches. The labels are also generally clean, though there are quite a lot of spindle marks on either side.
Overall this is a nice copy of this very rare Beatles LP in a fair sleeve, which has plenty of life left in it for a fan.
