THE BEATLES, BEATLES FOR SALE, ORIGINAL 1964 UK PARLOPHONE MONO LP, 3N/4N, BEAT

The Beatles – Beatles For Sale

Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by The Beatles. It was released on 4 December 1964 in the United Kingdom on EMI's Parlophone label. The album marked a departure from the upbeat tone that had characterised their previous work, partly due to the band's exhaustion after a series of tours that had established them as a worldwide phenomenon in 1964.
As far as I know this is a 1st mono pressing. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject to resale…” and “Recording First Published 1964”  text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With KT tax code on the side one label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 503-3N; Side 2: XEX 503-4N. The sleeve is the outer laminated, gatefold, opens from inside, inner flipback, “Made and Printed in Great Britain.” outline “mono” logo on cover. See condition below.
Side One: No Reply; I'm A Loser; Baby's In Black; Rock And Roll Music; I'll Follow The Sun; Mr Moonlight; Kansas City.
Side Two: Eight Days A Week; Words Of Love; Honey Don't; Every Little Thing; I Don't Want To Spoil The Party; What You're Doing; Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby.
The album is on Parlophone Records, PMC 1240. Matrix side one: XEX 503-3N (stamped). Matrix side two: XEX 503-4N (stamped).
Released in 1964. UK pressing. Mono.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has a few light marks and plays with some light background crackle here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great, plays with no jumps, sticks or clicks).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has a few light marks and plays with some light background crackle here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great, plays with no jumps, sticks or clicks).
Cover (outer laminated, gatefold, opens from inside, inner flipback): excellent (a few small light laminate creases mainly on spine edge, light creases top and bottom of spine, light creases back top right and bottom left).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details.  859 (GS 7.0.21 (859))
