-THE BEATLES --- ABBEY ROAD-Reel to Reel 4 track 7 1/2 ips.---

This auction is for the above Reel to Reel tape. I am not sure now if collectors are playing the tapes or if it is a collectable. I have a whole bunch of vintage (late 60s early 70s reel to reel tapes) I will be auctioning, mostly psychedelic, some are still sealed. THE BEATLES --- ABBEY ROAD --Reel to Reel 4 track 7 1/2 ips.---

This is an original BEATLES Reel to Reel Stereo tape, "ABBEY ROAD", released on APPLE ( L383) .This tape is loaded with hit songs "COME TOGETHER", "HERE COMES THE SUN", "SOMETHING" etc. I played this tape on my Reel to Reel tape deck and it played fine with great fidelity. I believe this is the cover that inspired the Paul is dead rumors, because he is walking Barefooted. The box is in VG shape, has some surface wear on the front and discoloration in the white areas (visible in the scan). If you would like a better scan of the front of the box, please let me know. The white of the side is discolored due to age. The back has minor wear. The box is totally intact. The clear tape reel is in nice shape with no wear that I can see, The Black and White label looks nice, but does have a very few and very small brown rust spots on it, also someone wrote a small "25" in pencil at the top,next to the Apple Logo, this as well as the brown spots are hardly noticeable. Because this tape plays at 71/2 ips. the sound is superior. Please do not hesitate if you have questions or would like additional photos.
