The Beatles - 'Help !'. PCS 3071
The Beatles 1965 UK 1st STEREO FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Help !' LP. Released on the 6th August 1965, and offered here fully complete in wonderful strong EXCELLENT condition.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd....' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side 2 label. The sleeve is the original front laminated 'PATENTS PENDING' sleeve with outline STEREO logo to the front. The vinyl is housed within the original emitex poly lined inner sleeve which is also in wonderful condition. A great example of this early 1965 factory sample demo pressing in rare stereo format.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1: YEX 168-1 1 GP
Side 2: YEX 169-1 1 RL
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition. Some creasing but NO damage.
